PAIN

Sometimes pain is important,
Sometimes just for change,

Sometimes comes out from memory lane,
Pain may be good,

Pain may be bad,
It always tests the men,

Physical pain is volatile,
Though  mental pain is long lasting,

Until comes some good days,
Sometimes pain is explicit,

Sometimes given by others through their words,
Their acts or their continuous inattention,

But is equally fruitful,
Whether a loss occurs or not,

A lesson is always taught,
Never be too close associate with anything,

Nor do expect much from anyone,
Whether living or physical,

Living with some proper distance,
Will get you chance of getting less pain……..

Freedom

A sweet song was echoing in the wind,
Which was soothing many more things,
Whether they were living or dead,
All were listening  the song,

The plants, the animals, the mountain, the sky,
The sun, the moon, the earth, the shy stars,
The song was always melodious,
Whether the day was dry,

Or the jungle  bathe with monsoon,
The song had  always the same delighted tone,
Full of joy and plenty of life,
That was the song of a bird,

A happy bird who made happiness all around,
Life in the jungle was her soul,
Her voice had the property of the jungle,
Life of the jungle was with her voice,

All were her friends,
Bonding was there between all of them,
She kept on singing all the day,
Making them happy over all the years,

There was nothing like any tears,
Then there came a black day,
Everything was same,
Except some human voice,

They were some hunters,
In search of some animals and birds,
Making all arrangements to apply their plan,
They fixed net and wait for the time,

They were attracted to the voice of the singing bird,
On seeing lots of nuts in the ground,
The bird was on cloud nine,
Thinking to eat and store the nuts for winter,

She was not  knowing the dangers of future,
In the next moment she went to the ground,
She was actually in the hunter’s entangle,
The bird was now feeling cheated,

 And her voice fainted,
A cunning smile was on the face of hunters,
They took her to market,
Sold her for a few bucks,

A father bought it for her small daughter,
She was very happy when she saw the singing bird,
A small girl got a new company,
Like an opera got a symphony,

The small  girl was very happy,
Was taking care of the singing bird,
Giving her a full accommodation,
Was trying to create a situation,

Hoping to listen a sweet song,
But the bird was all alone,
Despite all good food,
Her soul was in jungle,

With all the girls try,
The bird only chirped some sad sound,
Which was only creating environment more  gloomy,
The small girl became doleful,

Coming outside her house,
She saw some birds singing a sweet song,
With their group along,
Flying so high like reaching to the sky,

After watching the flying birds,
Who were singing a sweet song,
She knew the reason of sadness,
Prevailing in her house,

She knew the truth,
That happiness can’t be bought,
With the few bucks,
But can be found with the other’s bliss,

Make others happy and you will happy,
And the bird’s happiness was her freedom,
She quickly opened the cage,
Making the bird free,

The bird, moving out of the cage,
Finally got the freedom,
Making some lovely sound,
Building   the surrounding full of pep,

Like giving the small girl a big thank,
Flying high in the sky,
Vanished somewhere,
Hoping the jungle gets his voice back,

After the singing bird’s fight back,
A sweet song again prevailing in the jungle,
Making all animals, plants jolly,
Paid a great price to achieve the   freedom…….

An Eternal Love Story

A swift river was flowing continuously,
With her own mood carelessly,
Making a purling sound everywhere,
Not listening to any one,

Going with her own fashion,
Crossing many cities, many regions,
Sometimes like a marching Army,
Sometimes like a calm sky,

There was  a rock near the bank,
Rough, hard solid and arrogant,
Ready to break anyone in his way,
Over the years, as the river passed by,

He was now soft, polite, and meek,
Mind of rock was now changed,
Was trying to say something to river,
Although  river was still in hurry,
Without any tension or worry,

He said to river ”can we be one?”,
River was astonished, stunned,
River said ,”I can’t stop ”,
“I love you dear but my destiny is somewhere else”;
“I will die if I stop, my nature is running”
“Rest is not in my fate” ,
And she didn’t stop,
Besides their eternal and pious bonding,
Kissing the rock, she continuing her journey,
The endless journey,
To meet the mighty ocean,
Which was her ultimate abode,

Over the ages, this amorous saga continues,
Eventually  their love was incomplete,
Though , is the purest form of love….
Created by our mother nature.

Life of a Tree

Under that green big old tree,
There was a seed, with some deed,

Was starting a new life,
Thinking adventure will happen,

Was growing healthy and fast,
Thinking the world would be a great place,

As he would be more bigger,
The green tree was also growing,

And now the seed was a plant ,
Happy, watching, children playing around it,

Was gracefully dancing with the winds,
Good days were passing by,

Plant was thinking one day he would also as high as big tree,
With his clouds of imaginations,

he was singing with the sounds of the children rhymes,
Now when the big tree was enjoying his mature branches and fresh leaves,

Alas!, axe- men came,
There was a great emptiness in no time,

As the big tree was no more,
Now he was some pieces of wooden logs,

Tear was in the eyes of both,
The plant was pale sudden,

There was melancholy in the air,
This is the cyclic truth of all……………
